Field Engineering

Based out of our locations around the UK, our field engineering resource is ready to carry out installation projects, break-fix or preventative maintenance activity. We have engineers operating in our large Distribution Centres as well as mobile resources available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Background
With several decades experience in field service, we are able to bring our low cost-base and experience to offer flexible, effective solutions. We pride ourselves on the extent to which our solutions are provided by employed, in-house resources. Our field engineering services complement our other services of service logistics and product distribution to provide customers a joined-up solution.

Fixed Resource
Based in our Distribution Centres in Bracknell, Heathrow, Loughton and Milton Keynes we have a broad range of skills and product experience. Loughton specialises in ATM’s and reprographic products, offering storage, configuration, refurbishment, distribution, installation and de-installation services. This large, modern location also includes a steam cleaning plant and training facilities.

Heathrow specialises in PC, network and large medical products including MRI scanners.

Milton Keynes and Bracknell specialise in providing central support for distributed stock solutions including most deployment projects, and are also experienced in Retail hardware.

We provide parts “screen-and-clean” as a way of minimising our customers’ “DOA’s”. Combined with our service logistics offering thus gives customers an effective repair loop.

Mobile Resource
Our mobile resource is based in our main locations: Birmingham, Bracknell, Bristol, Belfast, London City, Leeds, Livingston, Manchester, Milton Keynes and Newcastle. Engineers are provided as part of an overall rollout project or for on-site repairs. A range of skills are available depending upon the complexity of the work required:
   Same- or next-day swap-outs or replacements
   Problem solving and fault diagnosis
   Preventative maintenance

Engineers are backed up by a 24/7/52 help-desk. All of our engineers are uniformed, carry personal ID cards and are security checked.

They are equipped with appropriate toolboxes and travel in branded vehicles. Our wide range of product sets includes desktop and server products, printers and monitors, retail equipment, plasma screens and LCD’s.

Our services are available on a contracted or ad-hoc basis.
