Steve Cahill has been appointed as the new Managing
Director of Unitrans Logistics (UK) Limited with responsibility for driving
the growth plans for TechXpress and the Concorde Logistics businesses.
Commenting on his new role Steve Cahill said, "I
am absolutely thrilled to be joining the Group at this time. In my first
10 days I have met a large number of our blue chip customers, visited
staff at all of our major sites across the UK and have been really impressed
both with the extremely positive feedback I have received about quality
of service and by the quality and commitment of our people. These factors
coupled with the resources that the rest of the Group can provide means
that we are superbly positioned to move the business on to another level
and create a strong European presence."
Steve Cahill added, "My goal is to make us the

tailored to their specific needs."
Over the last 20 years Steve Cahill has held a number
of senior international management positions in the Hi-Tech industry.
This has included managing large field operations, leading Commercial
Support and delivering Supply Chain Operations at a global level.
Steve Cahill joins Unitrans Logistics (UK) Ltd from
COLT Telecommunications where since 2005 he was responsible for their
corporate Supply Chain Management Division and Commercial Support. Prior
to COLT, Steve Cahill spent 7 years at Equant (now part of Orange Business
Services) where he was Vice President of Global Purchasing and Supply
Chain Management.
