With extensive experience providing support to the Field Services industry,
Unitrans offers a comprehensive range of services. With its central location,
the Milton Keynes distribution centre is ideally placed to serve as the
central hub for all UK distributed stock solutions.
Over 60 forward stocking locations are available throughout the UK and
mainland Europe. By combining the functions of the Distribution Centres
and the Forward Stocking Locations, Unitrans can offer a range of solutions
ensuring that defective parts are speedily returned from the field for
testing, repair and replacement.
Unitrans will report on inventory levels at Forward Stocking Locations
to established target levels, track parts out-with field engineers, or
“in repair”.
For selected products we can provide a fault “screen and clean”
and basic level repair service. Typically up to 50% of returned product
may quickly be processed and returned to good stock without incurring
the conventional “repair” charge and unnecessary transport.

Use of Unitrans’ interactive web interface provides a simple, economic
and effective method for both ourselves and our customers. Customer support
services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Using the latest technology we are able to track the courier’s progress
and provide ETA updates if required. Unitrans couriers use local knowledge,
along with satellite tracking, to find the quickest route from the FSL
to the destination where delivery is permitted only to the designated
consignee. Proof of delivery will be available within 10 minutes. Urgently
needed spares will be on the road within 30 minutes (60 minutes out of
hours) of order validation.
